Play fair.
Keep it fun.

Updated September 25, 2026. These rules explain use of the Yap Slap game and its online services. Respect other players, their privacy and their choices about sharing video. Contact Support@yapslap.xyz with questions.

Yap Slap is provided by Ihor Sokolov, Carrer del Turó de la Trinitat, 119, Sant Andreu, 08033 Barcelona, Spain. You can contact us at Support@yapslap.xyz.

Accounts and access

Online play uses your Game Center profile. Keep your Apple Account secure, use your own account and do not impersonate another player. The app never needs your Apple password in a support message. Camera access is required for face controls in every battle mode. Completing calibration and the test battle prepares those controls; online features and purchases also require the server to confirm training progress.

Feature availability depends on the app version, supported device, network, regional availability and platform or account restrictions. Do not bypass age, parental, security or moderation controls. Local play can remain available when online functions are unavailable.

Age eligibility and families

Online profiles, online play and purchases are available only to eligible players aged 13 or older. Apple’s Declared Age Range is checked before online access. Eligible players aged 13–17 share the Ranked queue with adults; it is not a separate queue for teens. Required platform, parental and regional permissions still apply. Apple’s Declared Age Range is a declared age signal, not a substitute for a necessary parental consent.

Players under 13, or whose age is unknown, can use local play only, without an online profile, multiplayer, live video or purchases. The App Store age rating and parental download controls are separate from these in-game checks. Parents can use the privacy contact route for questions about a child’s information.

Avatar-only online play still processes account, device and gameplay information. Where parental consent is legally required for that collection or for a feature, it must be obtained before use; an age signal, a download approval or a purchase approval does not by itself establish all required permissions. The current app has no separate process for obtaining verifiable parental consent. Parents should contact support about a child’s information and requests; an email inquiry is not itself consent.

Ranked, video and match results

Ranked requires the players’ separate consent to live-camera transmission and successful video-readiness checks before search and start. In Casual and friend battles, sharing video is voluntary. Consent to local camera controls does not itself consent to transmission. When the safety screenshot feature is enabled, video consent also covers the temporary screenshot capture explained in our privacy policy.

Hiding, reporting or blocking an opponent is a protective action. It does not change an already started Ranked battle into Casual, surrender the battle or remove its rating result. Both players keep the Ranked result determined by the game. Voluntarily withdrawing your own required transmission is different: before start it cancels the match without a result; after start it counts as a loss for the withdrawing player. A technical interruption is handled under connection and match rules, not classified as a voluntary withdrawal.

Content and conduct

The following are not allowed in video, player information, reports or other game activity:

Keep your camera focused on yourself and your game. Do not ask another player for sexual material, private contact details or payment information. Do not capture or distribute another person’s image without any permission the law requires. Use face controls comfortably, take breaks and stop if playing causes discomfort.

Hide, report and block

If a block has not reached the server, follow the in-app retry message before starting a new search. Reconnecting does not clear a saved video restriction. Manual show controls cannot override an active automatic safety restriction. Blocking one player is different from a service-wide moderation ban.

Moderation and appeals

We review submitted reports and may restrict video, suspend access or ban an account when necessary to address prohibited conduct. Automatic sensitive-content checks support these safeguards but cannot guarantee that inappropriate content will never appear. Use the safety controls if something makes you uncomfortable; you do not need to collect screenshots to report it.

You can view available decisions in Settings → Account → Account restrictions & appeals. Choose Appeal this decision, explain what should be reviewed and submit once. The same screen shows the appeal’s status and any published response. If you cannot access it, contact Support@yapslap.xyz. An appeal does not automatically remove a restriction while it is being reviewed.

Submit an appeal within six calendar months of the first decision in the case. A later appeal decision does not restart this period. Appeals submitted on time may be reviewed and resolved after the period ends.

Purchases and virtual items

The initial release catalogue covers virtual currency packs and individual heroes. The app and Apple’s purchase sheet show the offered item and its current local price before you confirm. Availability can differ by region and account. Do not make a purchase unless you are authorized to use the payment method; parental purchase approvals may apply.

Apple processes payment. The game verifies the transaction before granting currency or a hero to the signed-in game account. Keep that account when checking a purchase or restore. Virtual currency is used inside the game, is not a bank balance and cannot be redeemed for cash through Yap Slap. A repeated transaction does not grant an additional copy of the same purchase.

Purchased hero unlocks are non-consumable; currency packs are consumable. Restore purchases can recover an eligible hero purchase for the relevant Apple and game account, but does not recreate currency already spent. Contact support if a charge has not delivered its item. Refund requests are handled through Apple’s refund process, subject to applicable rights and eligibility. A refund or revocation can remove the related entitlement or reverse its grant. Deleting the game or a game account does not itself request a refund.

App Store terms

The license terms presented with the iPhone app’s App Store listing apply. If the listing does not specify a custom license, see Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple’s billing and platform terms also apply to its services. These game rules do not remove consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Leaving the service and changes

You can stop playing, disconnect online play or request account deletion from Settings → Account → Delete player account. Read the deletion explanation before confirming: the request disables the profile, and remaining data is handled as described there.

Features may be unavailable during maintenance, outages or while a safety restriction is in effect. We may update these rules when the game or its requirements change; the date above identifies this version. New optional data uses still require their applicable permissions. Read the match rules for gameplay guidance and Support for help resolving a problem.
